Beauty At Work: Dr. Marcia Haigis Joins the National Academy of Medicine

We are excited to announce that Dr. Marcia Haigis, our consultant and dear friend, has been elected to the National Academy of Medicine (NAM), one of the highest honors in the medical field. This recognition celebrates her exceptional work in the fields of aging, and cellular health.

Dr. Haigis is a Professor of Cell Biology at Harvard Medical School and Director of the Harvard Medical School Initiative for Healthy Aging. She is known for her groundbreaking research on how cellular processes and mitochondrial function impact aging and age-related diseases. Dr. Haigis is also a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and a new Member of the National Academy of Sciences.

Dr. Haigis’s expertise plays a critical role in shaping Paremina’s scientific approach. She once told us how much she loved the idea of "Beautyspan" as a female scientist.

Her research informs the development of our innovative products, including Neo Cell, which targets senescent cells and promotes healthy aging.

A Vision for Health and Longevity

Dr. Haigis’s election to the National Academy of Medicine underscores her leadership in advancing scientific research for better health and longevity. At Paremina, we share her vision of extending health-span and improving quality of life, and we are proud to work alongside such a distinguished scientist.

We congratulate Dr. Haigis on this prestigious honor and look forward to continuing to innovate with her guidance to improve health and beauty for all.
